BioMy name is Sarah. I'm 24 years old. I majored in political science at Northern Illinois University, with stops at music education, English, and biochemistry along the way, and now I have a full-time job doing none of the above.
Not as big into fandom as I used to be, but I still love my shows. Doctor Who and Star Trek own my heart forever (♥), but I'm also currently watching: How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Chuck, The Office, 2 Broke Girls, House, The Good Wife, and Hawaii Five-0. I also enjoy now-dead shows like Heroes, The X-Files, Friends, Buffy, and the West Wing.
I love baseball. I grew up with the Cubs, and that kind of sucks since they suck. Somehow I deal. Next year is always the year. I got to know my boyfriend because a mutual love of the Cubs. There's no better way to bond than ranting about your favorite sports team on the hood of a Buick on a warm late summer night. I also started enjoying hockey. I started watching the Blackhawks with my boyfriend and his best friend in the 2009 season, and by the time the 2010 Stanley Cup final rolled around, I was in love. My boys won the Cup for my birthday. ♥
Oh, and music. Of course! Music. I love Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer and World/Inferno Friendship Society the most, but I really couldn't list everything I like here. Let's just say that I've loved DMB since I was seven and I first heard Satellite on the radio, and you really should listen to John Mayer's guitar playing before you write him off as a douchey pop act.
And everyone should love World/Inferno. No, really. You should. They are amazing. Best live show of my life: April 7th, 2011 ♥
